摘要:The problem of a high speed microjet impact on a solid surface is disscused. The Tait equation of state is used to describe the compressibility of water. The Results for an oblique shock wave are presented in the hodograph plane where all possible velocity vectors down stream of the shock wave are seen to lay on a single curve (i.e, shock polar). A summary of the results of a simulation of the axisymmetric impact of a non linear elastic water microjet on an elastic-plastic surface is presented.
